K-16 Air Base is a tenant-use air base co-located with Seoul Airport in Sungnam City. Controlled and operated by the Republic of Korea Air Force 15th Composite Wing, the base is about 12 miles south of Yongsan Garrison. Travel time is about 45 minutes by vehicle and 10 minutes by helicopter.
 The 86-acre U.S. Army side of the base is home to four U.S. aviation units that are part of the 2nd Multi-Function Aviation Brigade headquartered in USAG-Humphreys. The 595th Maintenance Company and the Command Post Tango security force are also stationed at K-16.
Nearby military installations include the Sungnam Golf Course and CP
Tango.
